PT Chakra Jawara Wins Three Prestigious Awards at the Continuous Improvement Convention (CIC) 2025

PT Chakra Jawara (CJ) once again recorded a proud achievement by securing three prestigious awards at the Continuous Improvement Convention (CIC) 2025, held at The Alana Hotel, Yogyakarta. The accomplishment reflects the company’s strong commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

CIC is an annual event initiated by PQM Consultants to recognize companies that demonstrate a high level of commitment to productivity and quality improvement. In 2025, the convention was attended by 324 participants from 51 companies, with a total of 264 projects presented using various improvement methodologies, including PDCA, Design Thinking, DMAIC, 5S, Suggestion System, TPM, and Lean.

At this prestigious forum, Chakra Jawara teams successfully earned three awards through their flagship projects:

• Gold Medal in the Suggestion System category for the project “Development of a U-Plate Stopper to Reduce Center Bearing Damage on IVECO Units at the Wetar Site”, led by Purwadi.

• Silver Medal in the Design Thinking category for the project “Improving Traceability of Lost-to-Competitor Quotations from 62% to 100%”, led by Sofi Adenina.

• Silver Medal in the DMAIC category for the project “Reducing the Number of Axle Beam Component Failures on IVECO 682 Mining Trucks from 27 Failures to Zero by December 2024”, led by Jerri Lazarus L.
